One of the goals of the House that Credit Unions Built is to have employees from multiple credit unions and partners volunteer on each build day so they can meet and network with one another and help provide necessary housing resources to families in need. The home is being built in Austin Habitat’s Scenic Point neighborhood in Northeast Austin off Johnny Morris Rd. The build will start September 15th and volunteers from Austin area credit unions will be building on the home every Thursday through December 8th (except 11/26). The Austin Chapter of Credit Unions and local area credit unions are coming together to sponsor the House that Credit Unions Built with Austin Habitat for Humanity for the third year in a row!
